Play Sound Recorder

Overview

The play sound recorder interface allows you to quickly create customised messages based on white list entries to play when a new email arrives using your own voice. You can also use any wave file of your choice.

The interface makes it easy to quickly record new messages like

"My daily news has just arrived"

"New email from my mate David"

"New email from Bill Gates has just arrived"

and so on.

Never miss when an email arrives with sound notification.

Group Options

White List

Allows you to select one or more entries. To select more than one entry at a time hold the ctrl key. To select a group of entries click the first entry, hold the shift key and click the last entry.

Storage Location

Set the location where the recorder play sounds will reside. Please note that this location must be accessible by the emailAI Pro Engine using the same path. Mapped drive letters will not work so use UNC names where possible. It is best to run the console on the actual machine the engine is running on and save the play sounds to the hard disk drives. If your play sounds do not play change the emailAI Pro service to run as a particular user that has access rights to the location through the services manager in the windows control panel.

Record Options

Start

Starts recording using the microphone. Press stop to complete recording. On pressing stop the sound just recorded will play.

Stop

Stops recording. On pressing stop the sound just recorded will play.

Play Sound Buffer Options

Play

Plays the sound that is currently in the buffer.

Fetch

Fetches the existing play sign from the white list entry selected.

Assign

Assigns the play sound in the buffer to the selected white list entries.

Import

Imports a wave file into the play sound buffer.

Clear

Clears the play sound buffer.

White List Options

Clear Play Sound

Clears the currently selected white list entries play sounds. Note this does not actually delete the file.
