Rules
Overview
The emailAI Pro rules system allows the entry of rules to be checked against when a new email is added to the email store in emailAI Pro
Rules are based on regular expressions allowing complete flexibility to use simple words and phrases or complex regular expressions to match incoming emails against. If a match is positive the rule is processed otherwise it is skipped over and the next rule is checked in the order specified by the “Process Order” of the rules.
How To Use
Entry Options
Regular Expression
Use the regular expression builder to create a regular expression that is used to determine whether this rule should be applied to the email being tested.
Action
Select the action to be performed if the regular expression matches the email
Auto Responder
Select the autoresponder to use if the action is set to reply with autoresponder.
Applies To
Select the account that this rule applies to. Note the administrator can select all accounts, individual users can only select there account.
Deliver To
Select the local account to deliver to if the action is set send a copy to.
White List On Match
When enabled and the regular expression matches the email the sender of the email is added to the white list.
Black List On Match
When enabled and the regular expression matches the emali the sender of the email is added to the black list.
Log History Entry On Match
When enabled a history entry is made in the rules history which can be reviewed.
Enabled
When enabled this rule is active otherwise the rule is inactive.
From Date
Enter a date which the rule should commence from
To Date
Enter a date which the rule should run to.
From Time
Enter a time which the rule should run from
To Time
Enter a time which the rule should run to
Process Order
Enter a number to indicate the order in which this rule is placed with other rules.
Applies To
Enable the days the rule should be active on.
Actions Available
Normal Process
(Go through normal process) you might want to use this if you just want to white list / black list or log the entry
Validate
Validates the incoming email skipping the challenge and response and remaining spam checks.
Send To Spam
Sends the incoming email to spam
Delete (Send To Trash)
Sends the incoming email to trash
Hard Delete
Permanently deletes the incoming email
Send Copy To (Sends a copy to a selected local account)
Sends a copy to the local account specified
Reply With Auto Responder
Reply with a specified auto responder
Stop Processing
Stops processing of further rules for this email
