emailAI Pro Engine Installation

Download the latest engine from www.emailAIPro.com downloads section.

If you haven't already done so you will require a registration key which you will receive on compleition of the registration form.

Prerequisites

emailAI Pro Engine requires a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or Microsoft SQL Express 2005 Server. The Microsoft SQL Express 2005 is available for free and you can download it from http://www.microsoft.com/express/sql/download/default.aspx.

System Requirements

Intel Pentium IV 1.5ghz or higher
512mb of Ram or more
5gb of available hard disk space.

Setup

Install the engine by starting the downloaded file. Typically the engine should be installed on the same computer as SQL Express is installed. During installation you will be asked for the SQL Server location this will be localhost\SQLExpress if installing the emailAI Pro Engine on the same machine as SQL Server has been installed.

An option is available to specify where you would like the database to be created if you prefer somewhere other than the default.

Once you have set the SQL Server location and database location you can click the "Create Database" button which will create the data storage space required for the emailAI Pro data store. This may take a minute or two to complete.

Click complete once the database is created and the Engine Setup will be completed.You will notice that you have a emailAI Engine monitor tool installed in your start menu. This can be used to start and stop the engine. Do not start the engine before running the emailAI Pro Console and configuring the general options.

Before you use the engine you should run the console and go through the Getting Started Guide.

The emailAI Pro console can be directly installed from the emailAI Pro web site.
