Purchase emailAI Pro

EmailAI Pro can be installed and used for 30 days without restriction. To purchase emailAI Pro for continued use please see the Purchase Section of this web site.

Get A Registration Code

The registration code identifies each particular installation of emailAI Pro Engine as unique. If you are installing multiple installations ensure you have a registration code for each emailAI Pro Engine installation.

Please note the registration code is not the same as your emailAI or (STEVEN) key. You use your emailAI or (STEVEN) key when it asks for an activation code.

Download and Install Microsoft SQL Server Express (free)

Download & Install Microsoft SQL Server Express (free).

Microsoft SQL Server Express is a free product provided by Microsoft.

This step is not necessary if an SQL server already exists in the intended installation location.

If you wish to use the searching capabilities of emailAI Pro download SQL Express with Advanced Services and install the additional component "Full Text Search" during installation.

To enable remote connections to SQL Server please view "How to configure SQL Server 2005 to allow remote connections".

Prerequisites

emailAI Pro requires Microsoft SQL Server 2005+ or Microsoft SQL Server Express 2005+ (with Full Text Search if you wish to use the searching functions).

Microsoft SQL Server Express can be downloaded it from http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/sql/

Please ensure you have Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or Microsoft SQL Server Express 2005 installed prior to installation of emailAI Pro Engine.

Installing emailAI Pro Engine

Install the engine by starting the downloaded file. Typically the engine should be installed on the same computer as SQL Express is installed. During installation you will be asked for the SQL Server location this will be localhost\SQLExpress if installing the emailAI Pro Engine on the same machine as SQL Server has been installed.

An option is available to specify where you would like the database to be created if you prefer somewhere other than the default.

Once you have set the SQL Server location and database location you can click the "Create Database" button which will create the data storage space required for the emailAI Pro data store. This may take a minute or two to complete.

Click complete once the database is created and the Engine Setup will be completed.You will notice that you have a emailAI Engine monitor tool installed in your start menu. This can be used to start and stop the engine. Do not start the engine at this point.

Installing emailAI Pro Console

It is suggested you use Internet Explorer 6 or later to install the emailAI Pro Console as it uses Microsoft One Click Deployment. Some web browsers do not work correctly with this technology.

On starting emailAI Pro Console it will ask for the SQL server location. By default it will be localhost\SQLExpress if you are installing it on the same machine as your SQL Server. The installation will also ask for the machine name the engine is running on. This allows you to start/stop the engine from the emailAI Pro console. Leave this as the default if installing on the same machine as the engine.

emailAI Pro will then ask for your serial number, enter in the registration code that you received when filling out the registration form.
