Advanced Delivery

Overview

Advanced delivery allows the emailAI Pro engine to forward all successfully validated emails to a another mail server for final processing. Advanced Delivery would typically be used in situations where you have an internal Mail Server like Microsoft Exchange but you wish to have all emails pre-processed by the emailAI Pro engine. Advanced Delivery mail forwarding allows all the features of emailAI Pro engine to be used including emailAI Junior while maintaining your internal mail server structure.

Options

Deliver all email processed by SMTP to the mail server below

When enabled the emailAI Pro engine will attempt to deliver all emails received directly by SMTP, after processing, to the Internal Mail server specified.

Individual POP Account setups also have an option to use Advanced Delivery for email retrieved by those accounts. This allows you to use the emailAI Pro engine as a collection tool for your internal mail server for POP based accounts.

Mail Server Configuration

Internal Mail Server

The name or IP address of your internal mail server. Note the name here must be able to be resolved by a DNS server, otherwise use the IP address.

Port

The port to deliver the mail on. Being able to configure this allows the hiding of your real mail server behind the emailAI Pro engine on a different port other than 25 which ensures all email must go through the emailAI Pro engine.

Authentication

Select the authentication type if the internal mail server being forwarded to requires it.

Username

A username to use in the authentication handshake.

Password

A password to use in the authentication handshake.
